How the patterns are made

Every pattern is drawn as vector artwork on a square grid, so each shape lands on a clean fraction of the board. That's what makes it possible to scale a design to any board size and produce accurate measuring marks for laying it out by hand. Patterns are added regularly, and many come from requests — if you have a barn quilt you'd like to design with, you can send us a photo from the pattern library page.
